I’m not sure if I’m going to go see the Twilight movie. None of the actors look like the characters in the books; the vampires’ actors are not pale enough, Jacob’s actor doesn’t look remotely Native American, and so on. I’m also terrified that they are going to ruin the book.

This morning I decided to go through the drive-thru at the Dunkin Donuts and gas station combo I stop at every morning. When I got up to the window to pay and get my coffee and donuts, one of the girls poked her head through the window.
“Don’t be mad but I have to tell you something,” she said.
I figured she was going to tell me that my car was squeaking, or that my trunk looked open, or that the right side of my bumper looked like it was about to fall off. “Okay,” I said.
“One of the girls has a crush on you.”
“One of the girls here has a crush on me.”
“Yeah.”
“Okay. That’s cool.”
I should have asked if the girl in question was cute, I thought as I drove away. I wonder which one it is?
