I write mainly in horror, too! Only recently have I dabbled in other genres; I usually experiment only during NaNoWriMo.

I read a little of Dennis's blog and I have to say it's a very cute idea. I've had character blogs in the past, but they were mainly for roleplaying. I bet it's really useful when you're writing about Dennis. (:

The majority of my books and stories have been in the horror genre, so you see where I would likely go with something called "Thumbtacks". ;-) More recently I was moving into the fantasy genre, before Dennis's blog took off and I started concentrating on that instead.

@Dennis: Thank you! I usually use literal titles, but I've been trying to be more symbolic lately (which may have something to do with writing so much poetry). I tend to jump genres (anywhere from horror to young adult), as I haven't really found my "niche" yet. What genres do you work in?

"Thumbtacks" is a great title. If I were writing the story it would probably be a literal title, but I have the sense that you and I tend to work in different genres. ;-)
