The dreaded "my novel sucks" stage

I had to literally FORCE myself to write today, because all of a sudden, I HATED my novel. I became convinced that it sucks. I’m hoping tomorrow is less, well, doubtful.

Cups of Coffee: 0
Hours Spent Writing Today: Too long for just 3k words.
Number of Breaks Taken: Lots. Twitter saved me from calling it quits.
Number of Characters Killed: 0
Number of Times Writers’ Block Occurred: A few times.
Number of Times I Almost Gave Up: A few times.
Number of Chapters: 13
Number of Pages: 102
Favorite Character of the Day: Gigi and Kirk, because the dialogue between the two of them was AWESOME. Or at least, I thought so.

The good news is, I’ve been checking out literary agents and I’ve found one that I’m going to submit to when Secondhand Mom is finished.

Has it really only been eleven days? Sorry I didn’t post this last night. I didn’t feel good.

Current Word Count: 27,271
Words to Go: 22,729
Cups of Coffee: One in the morning, but I wasn’t writing. I was at work. (Remember, this was YESTERDAY.)
Hours Spent Writing Today: An hour an a half, maybe. Mike was over, so I felt bad ignoring himwriting.
Number of Breaks Taken: None. I just wrote a little bit and then called it quits.
Number of Characters Killed: 0
Number of Times Writers’ Block Occurred: 0
Number of Times I Almost Gave Up: 0
Number of Chapters: 12
Number of Pages: 92
Favorite Character of the Day: I didn’t write enough to really love anyone. Gigi talked to her mom and made coffee. Whoo-freaking-hoo.
