In the fall of 2016, I was diagnosed with Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease. UCTD is an autoimmune disease that is similar to arthritis and Lupus; my body is attacking my connective tissues (joints, tendons, etc). There is a possibility that my UCTD might fully develop into Lupus. For now, it’s being treated with Plaquenil, Prednisone, and Tramadol.
I also have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and hypoglycemia. Sometimes all three flare at once and it’s fun times. I used to get debilitating migraines, but haven’t had them as severely or frequently in several years; I think they were triggered by stress at several jobs I had, but they also run in my family.
