Number of Chapters: 13 in main doc + 2 in Kirk Chronicles (section of story I jumped ahead to) = 15

Favorite Character of the Day: Ric, my antagonist. Even though he’s a total douchebag, I liked his assholiness today.

Every time I go to write a blog post, I end up forgetting about it and returning to my novel. So, I guess this month is going to see very few real posts.

Didn’t post this last night because I totally forgot to. Whoops.

Hours Spent Writing Today: Hours. Don’t remember how many.
Number of Breaks Taken: Oh hi, Twitter!
Number of Characters Killed: 0
Number of Times Writers’ Block Occurred: I got really tired of what I was writing and jumped ahead to a part I’ve been DYING to write, which made it all that more easier to rack up the words. I’ll tie it all in together later.
Number of Times I Almost Gave Up: Nope.
Number of Chapters: 13 in main doc + 2 in Kirk Chronicles (section of story I jumped ahead to) = 15
Number of Pages: 104 in main doc + 16 in Kirk Chronicles = 120
Favorite Character of the Day: Ant, Gigi’s best friend. He’s a HUGE football player who is funny and doesn’t mind buying his friend’s pregnancy tests. Well, he almost doesn’t mind. He’s a good sport about it.
I just checked Twitter and found out that Jess is about 1,000 words ahead of me at 36,221. I imagine that she’s writing now and surging even more ahead of em… I MUST CATCH UP!!
Secondhand Mom: Day 12
I had to literally FORCE myself to write today, because all of a sudden, I HATED my novel. I became convinced that it sucks. I’m hoping tomorrow is less, well, doubtful.

Number of Breaks Taken: Lots. Twitter saved me from calling it quits.

Favorite Character of the Day: Gigi and Kirk, because the dialogue between the two of them was AWESOME. Or at least, I thought so.
The good news is, I’ve been checking out literary agents and I’ve found one that I’m going to submit to when Secondhand Mom is finished.
